Choose a file to see its labels.
Choose a before and an after file to see which labels survived.
What are these labels?
Content Credentials (C2PA) and IPTC/XMP can carry a file's claimed origin or edits. Some apps also leave a generator name in ordinary metadata. Provenant shows those clues and where each came from. It does not validate a credential's signature.
What if there are no labels?
A missing label does not prove human creation. Screenshots, re-uploads and editors can remove labels. Compare two versions here to see what survived.
What about SynthID?
SynthID is an invisible watermark. It may survive when metadata does not, but it cannot be read here offline. Use an official checker linked in the result card to check for it.
