Playlist Lens, version 1.1.0. Last updated 2026-10-23.

Playlist Lens is a browser extension that runs on www.youtube.com. It has no account, no server of its own, no analytics and no ads.

What it saves

In your browser's local extension storage, on your device only: your last time budget, the hide-watched setting, your sort choice, your playback speed, whether you dismissed the support and rating cards, a count of how often you used a budget or sort, and the date you first used it. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

What it reads

The playlist page you have open, so it can read each video's title, length and watched bar and sort or hide the rows. It doesn't store or record which videos or playlists you look at. Words you type into Filter titles stay on the page and are not saved.

What it sends

Nothing. The extension makes no network requests. Anything your browser loads on YouTube is YouTube's own page doing it. The Ko-fi and store rating links open only when you click them.
