# Privacy

Filed stores saved job-page rows in Chrome's local extension storage for the
current browser profile. There is no Filed account, sync service, or server.

After you click **Save this page**, Chrome gives Filed temporary access to the
active tab. Filed reads the page title, first heading, `og:title`,
`og:site_name`, and URL. It does not read hidden form fields or entered form
values. The extension has no always-on site access and no background process.

CSV export creates a file on your device. The extension does not send saved rows,
usage data, or analytics anywhere.

The optional Ko-fi link opens `ko-fi.com` only when you click it. That page is
outside Filed and is covered by Ko-fi's own privacy terms. A donation does not
change how the extension works.
